No1 was formed back in 2017, when friends TJ, Lei, and Bo started jamming in their basement. After realizing they had something special, they reached out to bassist, Trent Hill, to incorporate his punchy bass to help keep the rythm. Finally, the band reached out to Alex Beckman to add drums to the group, rounding out the punk rock sound they were looking for. After releasing their first album, Keep em Guessing, Alex stepped away from the band, and drummer Eric Stuber stepped in. TJ, Lei, Bo, Trent and Eric have been performing together for the past three years.

Aside from their record, Keep Em Guessing, No1 has over 40 original songs. At live shows they often pull out covers from some of their favorite bands, including Blink 182, Green Day, Weezer, Sublime, The Ramones, and 311.

The Band

TJ Canham

Guitar

TJ has been a career punker since his first band Two Left Feet in 1998. His songs capture the essence of punk with his driving guitar and pointed lyrics. His eccentric personality shines as he shares his northern energy when performing on stage.

Lei Canham

Vocals

Lei brings the soul to No1's punk rock sound. Her R & B infusion brings a unique style to No1's grunge/punk style. Her harmonies and attitude bring depth, passion, and grit to her music.

Trent Hill

Bass

T-Hill has been entertaining crowds with his funky bass licks for decades. A Minneapolis staple in the bands The Rezonants, Wetnap, Della Rainbow, and Old Hat, Trent holds down the rhythm section with his favorite bass Felix.

Bo Schmidt

Guitar/Vocals

Bo brings his chill vibe to the otherwise intense melieau of punk rock. But don't let that fool you, he's not afraid to let it rip while performing some of No1's biggest bangers.

Eric Stuber

Drums

Stuber is one of Minneapolis' best drummers, working his kit at lightning fast speeds. This human metronome can lay some of the nastiest fills in punk rock without ever missing a beat.
